Daisy-like yellow flowers rise 12” above low growing rosettes

Topical herbal medicine usu. In salves & tinctures treating muscle aches, bruises, inflammation

Basilico Nostruoso

Mild licorice flavored basil

Bushy plant >1’ tall & wide, 3x4” leaves

Excellent in soups, with baked tomatoes, sauces, pork, lamb & chicken

Caraway

Grows best in full sun and deep soil

3-5’ tall, leathery leaves, white flower umbels

Many vegetable & pasta dishes, kraut, add seed to breads & casseroles. Entire plant is edible.

Roman Chamomile

Grows up to 6’ tall

Strong celery-like flavor. Use sparingly to flavor soup, use leaves in salad dishes

Brown Mustard

Small seeds appear at top of plants. Hang in a cloth bag to dry. Shake bag vigorously to release seeds. Store seeds in airtight jar until ready to use

Grind combine with olive oil to make gourmet mustard, use to flavor beef, pork and venison.
